Professional Portfolio Reviews
Professional Review sessions– October 15 and 16, 2011.
Time: 9.30am – 12.30pm
Venue: Open Palm Court, Conference Room, India Habitat Centre.
· Professional portfolio reviews are open to Professional Photographers of any nationality.
A professional photographer is one who earns more than half his/her livelihood from photography
· Photographers seeking to have their work reviewed will need to register in advance and will be chosen on the basis of an advance submission of a portfolio of their work.
Please Note: Your images in the Advance Submission do not necessarily have to be the ones you want to show at the final review.
· Advance submission for the selection process needs to be made in the following manner:
Send us an email (contact.dpf2011@nazarfoundation.org) with your name, contact information, a 200 word biography and a link with 15-20 of your images (flickr, picasa, lightstalkers etc) along with the name of your preferred reviewer. The subject line of your email should read ‘PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIO REVIEW’.
Last date for receiving submission will be 5 October 2011.
Selected candidates will be informed by 8 October 2011.
· Please note that you can only show prints at a Professional portfolio review. No computers, hard disks, pen drives or handheld devices will be permitted.
· Each review will be for 25 minutes only within which you can show a maximum of 30 prints.
· Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Failure to arrive or notify us will mean that we can give your review up to someone else.
· Please respect the given time for your review and the next person in line.
· Fee for each Professional Portfolio review is Rs. 1000. Selected candidates will be expected to pay this amount in cash at the venue on the date of the review.
